March 17-21: Nigerian Kufi

This is a Nigerian kufi, a traditional hat worn by many Nigerian men, especially Muslims. It's a cylindrical cap, often made of colorful fabric or embroidered with intricate designs. Kufis are worn for religious purposes, cultural events, and everyday life, symbolizing faith, identity, and style.

This artifact is currently on display at the Karshner Museum in Gallery 5.
