Karshner Museum Makes Best of Pierce County List
The Karshner Museum and Center for Culture & Arts recently earned a silver ranking in the Best Art Gallery Category by The News Tribune, as part of the inaugural Best in Pierce County Awards!
The inaugural Best in Pierce County Awards, created by The News Tribune, received over 125,000 votes from community members across the region. Designed to honor and support local businesses, organizations, and individuals, more than 5,000 entities received votes, with those receiving the most votes earning gold, silver, and bronze medal recognition in each category.
Karshner Museum Coordinator Karen Higgins was equally grateful for the recognition.
“It was a pleasant surprise for Karshner Museum to be nominated, and we are truly honored to receive this recognition,” shared Higgins. “We want to thank our community and the Puyallup School District administration for their belief in us. It’s incredible to be part of a one-of-a-kind, hands-on museum that inspires visitors of all ages. We invite everyone to come visit us!”
