In addition to the art show reception, this year’s 5th Annual Empty Bowls fundraiser sale will also be held at the Karshner Museum on May 8 from 3:30-7:00 p.m.

This annual event, created by Puyallup School District students and teachers, features beautiful handmade bowls donated by Emerald Ridge, Puyallup, Rogers and Walker High Schools, and Ballou and Stahl Junior High Schools. All proceeds from the sales are donated to local food banks.

What is the Vesey/Munson Art Show?

The Vesey/Munson Art Show is held in honor of two veteran Puyallup School District art teachers who inspired both students and teachers.

The art show began in 1998 and continues today. This year, each junior high and high school in the Puyallup School District will submit their best student artwork. The culmination of the show is a reception for students and their families where special awards are presented.
